Dear Resident Student: To make your home in the Michigan State University residence halls a warm, comfortable place to live, the University Activities Board has made it possible for you to purchase a carpet at a student discount. This is the only school-endorsed carpet program. Funds raised from this activity will be used by the University Activities Board to provide weekend entertainment and events for students at Michigan State. Although carpets will be available for sale on campus during move-in, we cannot guarantee availability of carpeting in your desired size and color at that time. Pre-ordering is the only to guarantee carpeting for your room at Michigan State University. By placing an order now, you will be guaranteed that a carpet in the size and color of your choice will be waiting at the MSU Union Abbott Road door entrance (North Campus residents); Lot 70 off of Birch Road at the entrance to Cherry Lane Apts. across from Wonders Hall (NOTE NEW LOCATION) (South Complex residents); in front of Emmons Hall across from the Kellogg Center parking ramp (Brody Complex and University Village Apartment residents); or the parking lot in front of East Akers Lot #29 near Hagadorn Road and East Shaw Lane intersection (East Complex residents). This will make move-in easier by saving you the hassle of lugging a bulky carpet all the way from home. All carpeting is first quality, plush, residential, brand new, and bound on all four sides. If you are unhappy with your carpet your money will be refunded in full, but you will only have a carpet waiting for you on campus if you order now. Carpets will be available for pick up and sale from Wednesday 8/22 through Friday 8/24/2007 only. Carpets are not available for residents granted early move in.
